MeloTerms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Softmaco (“we”, “us”) for using the Melo app and website. By creating an account or using Melo you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use Melo.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Melo.
- You sign in with your email and a one-time code. Keep access to your email safe — anyone with it can sign in.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account.
2. Couple Space
- A Couple Space has at most two members. Share your invite code only with the person you want to join.
- Anything you share in a space is visible to the other member. Either member can leave at any time.
- When you leave, the space stays with your partner, including notes you shared. When the last member leaves, the space is deleted.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Melo to share content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone else's rights; don't try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or misuse Melo or other people's accounts. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Your content
You own the notes, photos and drawings you create. You give us permission to store, process and show them to you and your partner only so we can run Melo. You're responsible for having the right to share anything you upload.
5. Our content
Wallpapers, widget designs, themes, artwork, the Melo name and logo belong to Softmaco or our licensors. You may use them on your own devices for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute or publish them elsewhere.
6. Melo Premium and payments
- Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) give Premium for the period you pay for and renew automatically at the price shown, until you cancel.
- Cancel any time before the next renewal: in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or as shown in the app. You keep Premium until the end of the paid period.
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase that gives Premium for as long as Melo offers the service.
- Payments are processed by Google Play or Razorpay and are subject to their terms. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- All purchases are covered by our Refund Policy.
- We may change prices or what Premium includes; price changes for existing subscriptions are communicated in advance as Google Play requires.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Melo running smoothly, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable or change. We may add, change or remove features, wallpapers or widgets.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Melo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or the law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Softmaco is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Melo. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Melo means you accept the new terms.
